In the first part the author describes de-idealized love, referring to Moeller’s work »About love«. In the second part he points to the sources of incapability for love and sketches the conception of a mature love relationship, which he sums up in the statement: »To be mature means to be able to move from illusion to reality and the other way around without completely disenchanting the illusion and without forgetting the reality.« We can say that a mature love is the love that besides the feeling of oneness also is a strong feeling of separateness. In the final part he serves us an image from the gospel and exemplary shows how we can either gain or lose a life in partnership.
