Can Constructivism allow Empirical Research?

Abstract

By deducing the consequences of some basic constructivist claims, the following article intends to de­monstrate possible further development of cybernetic and constructivist research. Proposed change of the direction (return to empirical research, focusing on lived human experience) is – so I believe – a logical consequence of the epistemological participatory position. The paper is deliberately broad, perhaps partial­ly naive and sometimes even provocative. It merely aims to indicate the possibility which lies at hand, and does not try to elaborate its implementation in detail.
